Description/ Purpose This is a 54 hour pharmacology theory course intended for health care providers The purpose of this course is to provide an independent study course for health care providers that plan to challenge the NCLEX-VN examination by the equivalency method and require a 54 hour nursing pharmacology theory certificate. If this course is being taken as a pre-requisite for an LVN or RN program it is the students responsibility to ensure acceptance from the particular school .
